I also have corsair link installed for my Cooler and PSU but I've never had any problems with that software. Terabyte, my kids gaming rig gives me the same problem. Nothing seems to allow this update to come thru. I've tried launching in windows 7 compatibility mode as well. In normal operation everything works, I can create profiles and change the lighting effects, I just can't run the firmware update. Is there away to stop it from checking for firmware updates at least so I don't have to tell people to click cancel. If there is no firmware update, why the software keep asking at start up? I have the non RGB version of the strafe. I've tried launching in admin mode, even changing the permission settings listed in the FAQ. I have both plugs in a USB 3.0 plugin, I even tried it thru my standard USB plugins on my case and in the back of the motherboard, nothing seems to work. The problem is I keep getting asked to update the firmware, however when I try the update fails, and the keyboard stops working and I have to unplug it and reinstall it. So I have this Corsair strafe MX red Keyboard.
